Steve Johnson is just like any other kid: he goes on trips with his parents, loves the ocean, and thinks of himself as a guy who always does the right thing.
Well, maybe he doesn’t love the ocean that much. It’s not like he thinks about it all the time like he used to. These days, he’s usually just busy living his life.
But then Steve goes on what he thinks is just another ordinary vacation to his favorite place—the ocean—and everything changes in a splash. To his dismay, the ocean sweeps him up, turns him into a fish, and forces him to live underwater! Now, Steve must figure out how to return to his family. But with danger lurking behind every rock, will he ever escape alive?
On his journey, Steve meets many important sea creature friends, who help him survive. They also help him realize that sometimes, we must sacrifice everything for our loved ones…and that people we don’t even know are also worth saving.
Throughout his aquatic adventure, Steve learns the importance of being with family and protecting the ocean. But will he ever become human again?
