Matt, Nick, Gabe, and Alex are like most other best friends: they hang out every day, have weekly sleepovers, and watch spooky movies together. But when all four boys have the exact same dream—a haunted carnival, a witch, some spooky clowns—they begin to question what’s real.
There’s only one thing to do now: investigate the witches and wizards among them! Equipped with walkie-talkies, spy gear, and a lot of enthusiasm, the boys keep a close eye on their neighbors and classmates…until their “suspicious activities” turn out to be nothing more than routine birthday parties and playtime. Now, facing one dead end after another, the boys consider giving up their search for the supernatural.
Then, one astonishing discovery blurs the lines between reality and fantasy yet again, and the boys begin to suspect they’ve been right all along. And that’s when things really get interesting…
