Spiraling Out of Control is a gripping narrative that plunges readers into an unexpected journey throughout space and history. Told in a blend of poetry and prose, two individuals have the weight of the world on their shoulders. They find themselves thrown together in a place that belongs to neither of them, befriended by a group where no one is what they seem.
Olivia Gonzalez is a 17-year-old Boca Raton, FL resident and International Baccalaureate High School Senior. She is one of four siblings in a loving family of six with two dogs. She loves songwriting and practicing Pilates in her free time. She plans to major in political science and minor in women’s gender and sexuality studies with the intent to further her education with a law degree to practice and defend the rights of women. Olivia deeply enjoyed writing and illustrating this work to bring her ideas to life and speak on parts of history that we have to be careful not to repeat.
