Mackena Howard

Mackena Howard is a 15-year-old sophomore who enjoys doodling, mountain biking, and bracelet making. They have been an avid reader for as long as they can remember, and they have been on the first and second place teams for their district’s middle school Battle of the Books and served as captain for both. Mackena also loves both acting and singing and sang on the stage of Carnegie Hall in 2024 with the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches. They have long dreamed of publication, writing songs and stories as a young child; they won their first writing contest in first grade with a short story about the tooth fairy. Mackena is looking forward to everyone reading their first publication.
